Hello! I must say it has been a fairly uneventful couple of weeks. Everyone is back to work and school. I am counting down the days until spring break. I think I have about 50 calendar days left at work. It is going to be a jammed packed 50 days though! I have so much to get accomplished before I go on leave, not to mention moving! We may have a moving date set by the end of next week. I am crossing all my fingers and toes it is before spring break.
I spoke to my doctor’s office and my glucose test came back OK. I never had a problem with my last two pregnancies, as far as diabetes goes, but I was really worried this time. With my oldest I did have problems in my pregnancy, but it didn’t start until week 37.
I am at week 31 now. So…six more weeks until problems can start! Haha! The difference this time is that my teaching load is a lot less over the course of five days and I am not coaching. I have been trying to come home and rest. I feel badly, almost lazy, but if it keeps this baby cooking I am willing to do it.
Our scale at home has been broken so I haven’t weighed myself before Christmas. It has been hard for me not to gauge my progress. I feel pretty big. However, if one more person tells me I don’t look pregnant I am going to scream! Please know that I would much rather someone say that to me than “HOLY COW – you are HUGE!” BUT…I feel very pregnant. I can’t tie my shoes. I can’t sit with my knees together anymore. Trying to snuggle with the boys is getting harder and harder, as is bending down to get something off the floor. I don’t know why it bothers me so much when people say that to me…but it does.
I hope you have a great week!
Til next week -
