week 35

It's a Wednesday and I am posting - YEA! BTW - my doctor changed my due date to April 1, technically making this week 34. But according to my calculations my due date is still March 25, so I am leaving things be!

Speaking of the doctor, I had an appointment yesterday. My own doctor was on vacation so we saw the same doc we saw a few weeks ago, the one who told us that heart rate doesn't matter in determining the gender. I wanted to walk in and go "nah-nahknee-boo-boo!" but I didn't. Everything is going well. The baby's head is down, but since I am having a c-section it doesn't really matter. I am measuring right on track and the heart rate sounded good, although he didn't tell us what it was. The big news of the appointment was that I gained weight. I gained 2.4 pounds. I was crushed. Tears running down my face. I know it is OK, I know, I know. But I didn't like seeing it on the scale.

Nothing to look forward to this week. We are in the throws of packing our house, as we are moving March 7. We are over half way done but it is just so overwhelming.
